Bob Barker Hates Rosie O'Donnell

Rosie O'Donnell, it seems, isn't above campaigning in public to replace Bob Barker on The Price is Right:

In a full page ad placed in Thursday's Variety, Rosie, 45, honors the retiring Barker's long television career and not-so-subtly reminds him and his employers that she loves the show, and, oh yeah, has her own life-sized Plinko Board at home.

The controversial TV star has been angling for the game show hosting gig since December 2006, when she told Extra: “See, I want The Price is Right, but no one has offered me The Price is Right...They apparently don’t want me, which is sort of sad because I have visions for The Price is Right."

Word is, Barker, 83, is the one blocking her way.

Good on you, Bob Barker. I'd sooner see Gloria Estefan (gods how I hate her) hosting The Price is Right than Rosie O'Donnell. Ideally, however, I'd hope they'd just cancel the show. The program would be dearly missed on my days off from work, but I'd sooner see it die than go the way of Family Feud. Unless Conan O'Brien is looking for a day job. I'd find that a suitable trade off, and I'm sure Barker's Beauties would, as well. Does anyone REALLY want to see old ladies jumping up and down and running with wild abandon toward the Plinko board for their chance to kiss Rosie O'Donnell? Ratings suicide. And I'll be damned if I'm going to take that woman's advice on anything. She could tell me not to pierce my ears with a potato gun, and I'd do it anyway just so my last act on earth was in defiance of this troll. I'll be canceling David Hasselhoff's neutering immediately if she takes over, I'll tell you that for free.
