And we all thought it was just a cute rehab fling. Us Magazine reports that Britney Spears and Howie Day (pictured above choking a guitar to death) had a sleepover at her house a few nights ago. The kids were in the comparably capable hands of Kevin Federline, so Howie and Brit had the run of her whole Beverly Hills mansion.
Some of you may remember that Howie Day was arrested previously for locking a female fan in the bathroom when she resisted his advances, and then breaking the cell phone of another female fan who tried to call the police. The best part, though, was his statement to police at the time:
That was probably wrong of me.As though the jury's still out, right Howie? Maybe he means it was only wrong because he got caught, and he only got caught because the damn roofies took too long to knock those girls out. Anyway, some would say that with this stunning misogynistic streak and lack of remorse for what anybody would see as transparent wrongdoing, that Britney should stay clear.
On the contrary. I say go for it.
Not for Brit, understand. Never for her. For me. At least I can entertain the notion that next time she shaves her head, she won't be able to get out of the bathroom because Howie will have locked her in. And if she doesn't get out, I don't hear about it. And if I don't hear about it, I'm the happiest boy in the world.
