Cameron Diaz is a Cheerleader Whore, and I Heard That She Went ALL THE WAY With Justin. For Reals. No Joke.

Cameron Diaz...oh, damn you. I sort of loved you with your unorthodox brand of pretty and quirky laugh. You take fashion risks, but never often enough to be a huge concern. You're silly and cute and the whole BFF thing with Drew Barrymore is touching in a creepy "what'd they do with Lucy Liu?" sort of way. And then...then you go and say this:

“It's like high school, isn't it?” she told Vieira (the old Rosie O'Donnell, the new Katie Couric). “We as celebrities are like the popular kids. People want to know our business. It's really no big deal at all.”

She said this in reference to her kiss with Justin Timberlake at the Shrek 3 premiere this week, and it was said to Meredith Viera. That gets the facts out of the way. Having stated the facts...

Fuck you, Cameron. Of COURSE you're the popular kids, but you don't have to flaunt it. It wasn't bad enough that I had to write about the pretty blonde cheerleaders when I was in high school? At least they never said "Oh, and also...people like me a LOT more than you," when I interviewed them for my special spread on the Breakfast Club personalities (Jamie, tell your mom I'm still really sorry that you came off as such a bitch, but, c'mon...those were direct quotes, babe). Now I have to deal with it as an adult, too? Try a little something called HUMBLE, darling. Pretend you hate the attention and wish everyone would bugger off, what with you just being a big old closet geek who never has anyone to spend her Saturday nights with. Give a girl SOMEthing she can feel good about, eh?
