Colin Farrell's Girlfriend's Ex Commits Suicide

Colin Farrell, pictured above straight out of a fantasy from one of my "special" baths, has been linked (albeit loosely) to the suicide of John Marc Knight, 22. Knight is the ex of Muireann McDonnell, who met and began dating the actor after they met over Christmas at a bar in Dublin.

Though the pair had already split when the Miami Vice star and McDonnell began dating, Knight was reportedly devastated by it, a source revealed to The Sun:

"He struggled to cope with her seeing somebody else. The fact it was Colin Farrell must have made matters worse. As time passed things got worse for John."

Friends report that no enmity existed with concern to the couple, stating, "Nobody in either family is assigning blame and there is no bad feeling towards either Muireann or Colin. John Marc's death is a terrible tragedy and it is a huge loss to all of us."

Muireann is still struggling to cope with the tragedy, which occurred in February. She is reportedly seeking comfort in Farrell: the two vacationed in Positano, Italy last week.

Jesus. My exes kill themselves literally ALL the time, but I've never gotten to run off to Italy with an Irishman to deal. And the families? Every single ONE has tried to place the blame on me. Of course, my exes are always all "Mel has squashed my self-worth and destroyed my desire to live, either with or without her. There is not an ounce of good in her. She is neither human nor demon...perhaps some combination of them both in the form of a girl. Whatever it is, YOU shoot it. I'm quitting before she breeds" in the notes they scrawl out in their last moments. I gotta figure out how to stop that from happening again...I'm starting to get a complex.
