Paris and Prison: That's Hot

Sweet Moses, I've been aching all day to type that headline. I was going to write it either way, just to see how it felt, but this comes with that special ooey-gooey warm-inside feeling because IT'S TRUE.

A teary eyed Paris Hilton, moments before hearing of her fate, told Judge Michael T. Sauer "I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

The judge ordered Paris to 45 days IN prison. Paris will not be allowed work release, furloughs, use of an alternative jail or electronic monitoring. Those inside the courtroom report that Paris' parents, Rick and Kathy Hilton, were both visibly upset by the verdict.

Paris will serve her 45 day sentence at the Century Regional Detention Facility beginning June 5.

How could she, or her parents, or anyone else on the planet, actually be surprised by this verdict? This is her second offense, and her defense was "I didn't know" when there were papers IN the car stating that her license was suspended. I'd like to think she might learn something from all of this and possibly attempt living the life of a decent human being when she comes out on the other side. More than likely, however, she'll learn just how much earnings potential there is in leaking her prisonhouse rape tape. Sexy girl on unwilling girl action! Oh Paris, you know just how to market yourself.
