Spencer Pratt, shown above looking like the douchebag I'm sure he is, is using his considerable* clout to try to help people see that Paris Hilton really shouldn't be treated the way she's being treated. For those of you who don't know who Spencer Pratt is, don't worry. Neither do I.
Spencer tells Usmagazine.com: "I've always thought that the punishment should fit the crime. Paris has changed her image dramatically over the last couple years. Now she is such a good role model and a smart business woman. So it's a shame that a miscommunication between her and her people is landing her in jail. She should get probation with community service, but no way should she be put in jail with real criminals."
Spencer Pratt is evidently a political science major at USC, and it's obvious that during his time there he's mastered the subtle difference between "real" crime and "fake" crime. See, Paris shouldn't be thrown in jail with "real criminals," because she didn't commit a "real crime." Spencer doesn't go so far as to show us the legal precedent for this earth-shattering new legal distinction, but I have no doubt that when a judge is presented with this incontrovertible argument, he will fall to his knees, cast his gavel to the ground, and insist that he's not fit to wear his robe of office.
