Zach Braff Maims Babies

Zach Braff, pictured above looking goofy as usual, is nervous about his skills in handling babies. On the set of The Ex he held some babies and worries about the future repercussions that he may have on their lives.

“The only thing I found very difficult was I never really held a baby before, and I didn’t know how to do it. “The rest of the cast had some experience so they knew that you have to hold the head. Supposedly you have to hold their heads because it’s not strong. So the first couple babies, I injured them. The baby you see in the film was number six. One through five they will be fine, but they might walk funny.”

The thing I find funniest about this is that in print, Zach Braff sounds like a Russian woman. Imagine the quote above in the voice of Natasha, of Boris and Natasha, from The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, and it will sound completely natural. It makes me wonder how many rewrites Garden State needed before the producers decided they didn't have to set it in Moscow after all.
